Starscapes is a term I use to describe what is more commonly referred to as star photography. To me, starscape. more accurately defines the photography of stars combined with landscape objects. The beauty of the night sky can be easily captured with today’s digital cameras, which can reproduce objects and scenes that the human eye cannot see. With the additional advantage of long-exposures, star trails can be introduced to add another dimension to an image – the dimension of time. All of which, when used creatively, result in spectacular and somewhat surreal images of the night sky and landscape objects.
